About the Teacher
Hi, My name is Andrea McConnell. I have been at Family Foundations Academy for 6 years. I have taught second grade for three years. I worked one year at FFA as a Co-Director of the FFA Before and After care program. That year gave me extra time through out the day to spend with my then new born son. This is my second year teaching Kindergarten and I absolutely love it. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education (Pre k- 2). I am hoping to go back to school and get a Masters Degree.
I really enjoy being a teacher. Making a difference in the life of a child is an amazing feeling. I feel that along with educating my students, I try to be a caring teacher who the children know they can come to for what ever reason.
In my spare time I am very busy with my three year old son, who is my everything. I am just enjoying being a parent and excited to see my son grow and learn.
