About the Teacher
Hi, My name is Andrea McConnell. I have been at Family Foundations Academy for the 4 years they have been open. I have taught second grade for three years. I worked one year at FFA as a Co-Director of the FFA Before and After care program. That year gave me extra time through out the day to spend with my then new born son. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education (Pre k- 2). I am hoping to go back to school and get a Masters Degree.
I really enjoy being a teacher. Making a difference in the life of a child is an amazing feeling. I feel that along with educating my students, I try to be a caring teacher who the children know they can come to for what ever reason.
In my spare time I am very busy with my two year old son, who is my everything. I am just enjoying being a parent and excited to see my son grow and learn.
