About the Teacher

Hello! I am Mr. Mobley; a fourth-year teacher from Brooklyn, New York. I am an Alumni of the University of Delaware and a current graduate student at Wilmington University. The 2011-2012 school year will be my 3rd year teaching here af FFA. My desire is to create a classroom environment that has a positive effect on every student. By informing my students that everybody is somebody; this establishes their comfortability with me. I am also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Expectations

Students must get all of their tests/assessments signed and return them on the following school day.

Parents must print the homework assignments as a safety net, just in case the students fails to bring their homework home from class.

Students MUST be in uniform at all times. (Dress Down day is the only exception)

Mission Statement:
As a teacher here a Family Foundations Academy, I will be a leader, a great listener, and a positive role model for my students. I will provide standards-based instruction that is engaging and motivating. I will complete formative and summative assessments and use that data to drive my instruction. I will require that students uphold the school's motto which is... "We care & we share, we grow as we know; we believe and we achieve; with all our might nothing is out of sight". Parents will be thoroughly informed about their child's progressive along with school-wide events. Lastly, I will establish classroom norms that will positively affect my classroom culture and mold students into better citizens.

I pledge to treat others with kindness and respect. I also pledge to put forth my best effort and help my classmates if need be.
