Notes For Parents
Family Foundations Academy is now K-8!!! Yes K-8 thanks to you, your children and the staff here at FFA. If you are interested in enrolling your students for either grade, please feel free to contact the main office.
- On May 24th is our FIELD DAY!!! This will be an enjoyable school-wide event for all grades. There will be contests all day long and lots of smiles here at FFA.
- On May 14th the fourth grade team held a live Wax Museum here at FFA. Pictures are available below in the photo gallery.
- (5/10- 5/15) was our MAPS testing. These tests have been given to monitor the progress of each student thus far. The results will be in soon.
- There was a field trip to Academy of Natural Science {in Philadelphia, PA) on APRIL 30, 2010. The students as well as the chaperones had a wonderful time at the museum. Thank you to all of the parents who lent a helping hand.

About the Teacher
Mr. Willie Mobley is a second year teacher from Brooklyn, New York. After graduating from the University of Delaware, he went on to teach 11th and 12th grade U.S History & Economics. As a first year Elementary School Teacher, Mr. Mobley continues to learn how to adapt to any classroom enviroment and have a positive influence. He is also a member of the Nu Xi chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. In the classroom, Mr. Mobley informs his students that "everybody is somebody" ; and this establishes their comfortability with him. Classroom Rules and Expectations
- Respect Others
- Follow Directions
- Do not get up without permission
- Raise your hand to speak
- Keep your hands and feet to yourself
- No talking while someone else is talking
- No Chewing Gum
Expectations
- Students must get all of their tests and homework assignments signed and return them on the following school day.
- Parents must print the homework assignments as a safety net, just in case the students fails to bring their homework home from class.
- Students MUST be in uniform at all times. (Dress Down day is the only exception)
